Ararinha Jungle Lodge - 3 Days and 2 Nights

Day 1
|
| Departure from the hotel at 6:30 am for the Ceasa port to catch our speed boat to cross the Amazon River to Careiro, a typical commercial fishing village. On the way, we will have the opportunity to see the magnificent "Meeting of the Waters", the junction of the Solimões and Negro rivers to form the Amazon River. After arriving at Careiro Village, we will continue on the famous Trans Amazonica road for 40 kilometers until our arrival at the Araça River, where another speed boat will take us to the Mamori River basin. Approximately 35 km upstream, we arrive at the Ararinha lodge. Due to the breathtaking landscape and the abundant wildlife that you'll encounter during the first part of the day, you might consider the trip from Manaus to the jungle lodge as part of the adventure itself. Lunch upon arrival. Afternoon reconnaissance tour for better understanding of the area, with explanation about the ecosystem, flora and fauna. Dinner. Overnight in the jungle lodge. |

Day 2
|
Breakfast. Morning jungle trek with explanation about medicinal plants, survival techniques and flora and fauna. Lunch. Afternoon fishing trip for (piranhas).
Dinner. Night tour to experience the nocturnal environment and alligator spotting. Overnight in the jungle lodge. |

Day 3
|
| Breakfast. Visit to native Caboclos dwelling to see the typical way of life of the local people and how they have adapted to the jungle. Lunch and transfer back (at 13:00pm) to Manaus for arrival approximately at 17:00 pm. |

Accommodation
|
| The accommodation in the jungle lodge is in
a private room with a bed, a fan in the room,
and private bathroom. |
Activities
|
| Piranha fishing,
alligator spotting, visit Caboclos. Activities
on this tour can be customized for individuals,
families, groups, students, adventurers or those
who want just to enjoy nature in the Amazon.
Activities may vary with daily weather
conditions and season. |

with hammocks. This lodge is suitable for
individuals, seniors, families, or students. |
Departure
|
| Visitors are picked up early in the morning
at their hotel and then taken to the river boat
to start the tour. You will also see the Ceasa
market. |

dinner), transfer to/from the jungle lodge,
accommodation (bed) in the jungle lodge, mineral

What to bring
|
| Light clothing, bathing suits, sun hat, long
sleeved shirt, long pants and rain coat, hiking
boots or tennis shoes, sandals, insect repellent
and sun screen, plastic bags to protect your
films and camera. |
