Leaving at 08:30 from the Floating Docks, we

stops for lunch.
From Janauary Park we move further up the Rio
Solimões to the Anavilhanas archipelago - with
hundreds of islands this is one of the largest
Archipelagos in the world. From there, we depart
in canoes for piranha fishing. After fishing we
will canoe through the igapos (flooded forest).
Dinner. Right after dusk, we depart in canoes in
search of alligators. The guide spots its eyes
with a powerful torch and carefully approaches
the alligator, grabbing it with his bare hands.
After the explanation about this interesting
reptile, the guide will let it go free again. We
overnight on board the boat in hammocks. |
